Proprietor’s Message

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Emplace College. An educational institution that was aimed at carrying on the ideals and ideas of Mummy’s Place School (the primary section), whilst also setting a new standard for secondary education, in providing high quality education in an environment that fosters hard work, selfless service, collaboration, integrity, ethics and respect.

We believe that secondary education remains one of the most important phases of a child’s educational journey, as this is where they start to pick up some of the core values that will see them through long into the future. At this key stage, they also establish solid relationships with other students of like minds, with some of these relationships promoting progressive collaborations for the future. It is therefore imperative that the experience of the children at this crucial phase be solid, fulfilling, and enjoyable.

It is not strange to say we’ve over the past two decades, witnessed a steady decline in the delivery of all-round quality education in Nigeria. If we had to compare era’s, the sound education that was available some three decades ago is in sharp contrast to what is available today. Core values that made and shaped young lives, like hard work, obedience, patience, integrity, determination, selfless service, respect for self and others and collaboration amongst others. These values made men out of boys, and women out of girls, some of who currently are pillars of the society we live in today. If we are to make giant strides once more, our value system would require a complete overhaul. This is one of our major driving forces in Emplace College, educating effectively to bring about societal change.

We are of the firm belief that the Nigerian child deserves a shot at quality education, whilst still in their local environment that allows them maintain their cultural values, and we are committed to providing such an environment.

In these children, we see a future and a hope for a better tomorrow, and for this reason, we are dedicated to providing at Emplace College, world-class education in an environment of love, using the best possible resources at home and abroad to groom the next generation of leaders.
